Halo 5 "Double XP" event

Hello spartans,

After seeing the wonderful double xp event notice from 343, I was very excited to continue my 152 grind of shame.
However, after doing several mythic firefight games, I have noticed that instead of the average 20k xp from blue xp warzone boosts, I am now only getting about 15 k.

This hold true for warzone as well, with an average xp increase of 10k with a blue xp boost prior to this “Double xp” event, we now see an average of 12k.

Could somebody tell me what is going on here? I am now getting less xp in mythic firefight in the double xp event than I was before!?

I would also like and official mesage, the double xp event of october hasn’t even appeared on H5 “message of the day”
