Just bought the digital deluxe edition of Halo 5 on my Xbox and found out you get Spartan Assault for free! It also comes with the regular preorder edition. Wasn’t sure if people knew this yet so I figured I’d let people know.
Thanks for the info but i’m still going to go to the midnight launch at my gamestop. Last time I went to the midnight release of destiny they had a halo reach tourney there that I won. got some pretty cool prizes. I think they will probably have a halo 4 tourney for the midnight release of halo 5 that I will also win. : )
Whats digital deluxe?
I’m just not convinced that the value I there, I need to know more an the fall of Reach thing, or what the value the these rec packs is… 30$ extra seems like a rip off.
I don’t know, this may be the first time that I buy the regular edition of a Halo game since CE.

The rec packs were actually explained. They’re kind of like the battlepacks from Battlefield where you can get armor and weapon skins. You can earn rec packs all across multiplayer but you can only use certain things like vehicle unlocks in Warzone. I’m hoping Fall of Reach will be good as well, having read the book a few months ago.

So I’m wondering if the skins will be usable in regular multiplayer. Weapons skins included.
The only time weapon skins are going to be usable would be during Warzone. During arena everything is picked up off the battlefield.
I am hoping these aren’t buyable like battle packs are. Let it all be earned in game only.

No apparently skins are usable in all game modes, its only non cosmetic things like a Scorpion card or what not that is for use only in Warzone

They did, but I personally don’t know the details on it. It kinda worries me.
I really think people should wait on more info and pictures before they pre-order. yeah what is the animated series? How does the statues look? and that guardian thingy?
