Imagine Custom Game, User Gametypes, Maps, Etc.
It would revolutionize the how players went about halo again, just like halo 2 did
I would pay 60 dollars a year for that, have ranked dedicated, and rent a server for customs where you can name what game types, or have it where you rent it, and put maps with specific game types that it would cycle through

What are the odds they could upgrade to dedicated servers for Halo 4? Considering the state of Spartan Ops matchmaking, it would be a most welcome addition…

i agree, i was thinking have the custom ones in which that “could” maybe be possible, but still have the 343 vanilla ranked servers still

On a “Ranked Server” Someone shouldnt be able to do that
Custom Servers yea, It just like having party leader, some abuse the power yes. But Sometimes it does come in handy

I would think it would be the ranked ones would ONLY be 343 ones that are default, simmaler to what we have now, just servers, i know Australia is dying for them
Considering how much money Microsoft has gotten from the Halo franchise I think it shouldn’t be to troublesome for them to get us dedicated servers. Heck if Gears 3 and Judgment can get them I think Halo is more then entitled to them as well.
Farcry 3 has dedicated servers…
Dedicated servers would be one of the best matchmaking editions in the Halo franchise ever.
It would finally stop lagging(not completely but mostly). It would also increase player satisfaction with the game, which is never a bad thing. 
What happened to Bungie’s load of b.s. that dedicated servers aren’t the answer? Looks like Bungie was lying!
