halo 5 cut-scenes broken no audio

Do not post spam.

hello i played Halo 5 at midnight smooth launch no problems i hopped straight into the campaign got up to Mission 10 got tired so went to bed next day i think to myself ill finish the campaign nope my whole entire campaign is now broken every single cut-scene across the entire game now has no audio for the people talking. well it has audio but it sounds like all the characters are talking into a pillow i cannot understand a single word anyone if saying in the campaign. i have posted this issue 9 times now on halowaypoint all i wanna do is finish the campaign, but for some reason every issue on these forums gets an instant reply but everyone skips straight over my problem. i prey to god that i do not have to post this a 6th time so if someone could just please read this and give me a fix for this problem or at least a little reassurance that this will get fixed i would really appreciate it. ill leave a list below of all the thing ive tried to do to fix this
Hard-reset
close the game and relaunch it
full re-installation of the game
delete my saved data and recover it
tried playing in co-op mode
tried 2 different monitors (with the built in speakers)
tried 2 different sets of speakers
tried 2 different headsets
so its definitely nothing to do with my hardware, so fix your dam game 343 its been 15 days and i still haven’t been able to play the product i payed for.
that’s about it so please someone help me its been 15 days of posting the same problem on the same forum about the same game i want this fixed its been that long of me trying to fix this i can barely remember whats happened. and also another thing about this big/glitch when i record a clip of the cutscene and watch it back the audio is fine just thought that info may help.

Your post here mentions that you took the game itself back to your game store and they confirmed the game itself was fine. After everything you’ve tried above, it may be that it’s a problem with your Xbox itself and not the game? Have you contacted Xbox Live support about this at all? Might be worth speaking to them and seeing if it’s maybe something thay can help you out with

yeah and i also said they wouldn’t accept it back

its not my Xbox ive seen several other people with this issue and they have all tried the same things its hard to explain but its not my Xbox something to do with the this bug just will not leave your system people are having to go out and buy new Xbox’s just to fix this because once you get this bug its not going anywhere. i spoke to one person who factory reset hi console and that didn’t sort it so i think its linked to your saved data/Xbox live account. but i cannot stress this enough its not my Xbox its the current build of halo 5 guardians and its a bug every single other game on my machine works if it was a hardware problem it would be playing up on several other games. and there are is dialog in the start of warzone if it was a problem with my Xbox the audio would be broken there too. its a bug and it needs to be fixed ive been wiating 15 days and all im getting is people telling its by fault it broken ive done something wrong. im not going out paying a stupid amount of money for this bug that may or may not target my new system then that one will be broken forever.

If the store confirmed the game works on their store boxes, they don’t have to accept returns in that case (up to the store’s policy really). If everything you have tried above have resulted in the exact same issue (different TV’s, speakers, etc.), then that to me says that it’s very likely to be something wrong with your Xbox and not the game. I didn’t see any mention of you contacting Xbox Live support in your other posts, so I would do that to fully rule out your box being the issue
edit if it is indeed a issue with the game, it can only be affecting some players as not everyone is experiencing this issue

im seeing daily people with similar or if not the same problems people saying there xbox will crash as soon as they try to even run the campaign but you know the other 10 games they own are working fine a couple of which i bet are more graphically demanding than halo 5 you gonna tell that their consoles are broken too

i play 75% of my time on pc and ive seen bugs just like this once its on your system its broken your game if you try that game on a different pc it will work fine as soon as a patch is out its fixes that problem and it works. its not my xbox its the game but its bug is on my xbox and its need a patch and plus the game was working for the first 7 hours of its release i got up to the 10th mission. next day that bug is out

and also if i record the broken cutscense with game DVR the cutscenes work fine that literally proves my theory that its a bug if my systems was broken and i was getting texture glitch all over the place because my GPU was over heating and i decided to record it and the recording captured all these texture glitches then yes my machine is broken. but if im recording an audio file that broken and the recording somehow by passes this broken audio and plays it back working then that proves its a glitch because a recording software is capturing its as a working audio file

just 2 days ago i bought black ops 3 on my pc and i was playing and getting random FPS drops and im using an i5 processor and apparently its using 70% of my cpu power which is grate so if its using 70% of its power then im thinking hmm i think my cpu is broken but i try it on a different game one that harder to run and its using 75-80% of my cpu and its working way better. so i look on the forums of bo3 and guess what about 30 post straight away are people having issues with i5 cpu’s 2 hours later 58 MB patch rolls out fixed just like that.
