ive been having the problem to where I can’t play any custom game mode that I’ve bookmarked from other players. I can pick the map but any custom game mode created by someone random will not work. 343 gamemodes work but bookmarks won’t. Does anyone else have this issue? Please help. I just want to have fun 
I had the issue too. Apparently you have to choose the base 343 game mode that the bookmarked game mode was built off of first and then choose your bookmarked game mode. Not sure if this works, haven’t been able to try it yet, someone on these forums told me that this is what you have to do.

This works. Alternatively, if you choose the mode directly from the Author’s files then it works every time.
Sometimes it won’t even let me choose my own variants.

Select from your files, not bookmarks. Sometimes I need to select it 2-3 times before it will load.
