Halo 5 CSR needs some tweaking

Their needs to be a better way to determine skill in Halo 5. Not saying I have a big -Yoink- and can carry a team but I can (as of the last year or so I’ve gotten great at halo’s and shooters in general) and my recent games of Halo 5 since I hit semi pro im being paired up with other’s in onyx and semi on my team and pro and semi on the other team. Idk how my teammates got where they were skilled because it was like playing with those toxic trolls in League of Legends if you know what im talking about causing an impossible rank up field similar to League. 343 needs to find some kind of happy medium between H2 skill system (win’s and losses) and H5 skill system (being good as an individual) because the current one will not work and will drive player’s who are competitive like myself away from ranked and into unranked playlists on the full game if your paired up with players who AFK, are toxic, or aren’t nearly as good as their rank. Again not trying to say I have a big -Yoink- at halo. my KDA has gone down since I achieved Semi-Pro (I’m a team player) due to AFK teammates, quitters, horrible teammates, etc because I’m not a player who quits even if the other team has a clear advantage it’s worth trying to l2p better against that vs being a puss and quitting like a child. Has anyone else encountered this or think similar?

I don’t understand what you mean… H5 works similarly to H2 in that it’s based completely on wins and losses. Your individual performance doesn’t affect your rank at all…

the only significant difference is that you are placed in a division after 10 placement matches…

I think that they should also factor in game completions and game quitting when it comes to the placement of the divisions. I’ll probably get a little hate for this but I wouldn’t mind seeing 343i bringing back join in progress to help alleviate the quitters in the game.

In case you get flack for it I just want to throw my support your way. Punishing for game quitting and keeping JiP would be a really good system imo. Especially since the newer version of JiP never seems to throw people (or at least in my experience) into games that are around halfway over anymore.

Ranking should ONLY be based on w/l. Anything else starts to encourage poor player interactions. Teammates competing against each other is just a bad idea.
