Hello everyone. I am trying to reach 343 Industries but there is no phone number or email listed, so hopefully this post will reach them.
I have an Xbox One X. Since September 2019 Halo 5 has been crashing every time I launch it, to the home screen of my Xbox. The load screen launches, then the Microsoft Studios logo displays and then it crashes. I have walked through all of the trouble steps with Microsoft to no avail. Their advice was to contact 343 Industries. I have completely wiped my Xbox back to factory settings and I still have the same issue. I only have this issue with Halo 5 and with none of my other games.
So, I decided to purchase an Xbox One S to see if I have the same issue. Surprise, no issues. I can play Halo 5. I am stumped.

Alot of people have reported the same thing. The game is really struggling right now. Servers are probably just trash but they don’t care.
I heard both X and S having problems with such, yet never the original xbone. I have no idea why though.
I have an Xbox one S, and a digital copy of halo 5, along with a strong internet connection. However, it will constantly freeze when setting up customs, and crash and return me to the Xbox home.
343 Industries, I am still waiting for your help.
Can you try plugging in an external hard drive and re download the game to that drive and see if it still works? That would atleast confirm whether it’s the hard drive or the game itself. I have my game installed to an external drive and don’t have issues other than crap connection quality since population is dead and servers are trash.

I have the game downloaded onto an external hard drive. I have tried it with the external hard drive and without. Same issue.
