What’s up guys… I recently downloaded Halo 5 Guardians through the Game Pass. It turns out that the game simply does not open the first Osiris mission. It gets frozen in the loading screen and after a few minutes ends up throwing me to the dash.
Some unsuccessful attempts so far:
1º) I already tried to clear the cache;
2º) I already cleaned the cache, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it 3 times.
3º) I deleted the storage data of the game and make the 1st and 2nd option and it still did not work.
I signed the Game Pass because of this game and it simply crashes when starting the Osiris mission.
Help me, please, I’m already in despair. Cleaning the HD is out of the question, I will lose all my games installed on it.
While it sounds like you have done everything have you tried just a hard reset of the Xbox after the install? Odds are I don’t think that will help but it may… But I will suggest if you are on WiFi try connecting your Xbox with a wired connection. Wired connections are much more stable and reliable. After you are wired uninstall the game and then install it with a wired connection. Also while the game is installing don’t do anything else with the Xbox, just let it install without running any other programs. Then give it a try.

There is no problem with my connection. The download occurs without interruption. I emphasize here that this error happens only with Halo 5 (single player campaign when it will start Osiris Mission) simply by locking in the loading screen. Sometimes it ends the game and also there were unexpected disconnections. Still waiting for a solution. I understand, but sometimes there are problems with connections with authorizations and stuff like that. I have already happened to be unable to sync saves, but to be able to download the games from the store. I would try to connect to a hotspot via mobile phone to rule out the problem. Then you could also try installing Halo5 on an external hdd or on an external memory.

Friday I hired another internet provider and yesterday my external HD arrived. I installed this new HD and now the error happens in the game menu. Simply on the loading screen freezes. I repeat, this only happens with Halo 5. My brother has an xbox one and he uses the same internet as mine. I’ll go to his house and download and install using his console on my hard drive.
