I noticed on a recent play through Getting towards end of game that sometimes when Cortana can be heard her designation is //Created but sometimes it’s //Domain.
Do we have 2 remnant parts of her competing with each other or is this just an oversight by the Dev’s?
What parts of the game are you referring to?
In H5, do characters’ names pop up on your HUD when they speak? I’m assuming that’s what you are referring to, but please correct me.

Yeah, when some one talks to you over the comm, an icon pops up in your HUD showing their service number and a picture of who you’re talking to.

Oh yeah, that did happen also in Halo 4. I liked being able to actually see Cortana talking to me throughout the game, and not just be a disembodied voice in my head.

If it changes at a certain point it might be due to revelations.
It is in the HUD I am talking about very near the end. I am going to have a run through it again but I’m sure it was //Created then //Domain the //Created again.
I’ll double check but it does show both. I remember the part in Halo 4 where you heard Halsey when it showed Cortana or viseversa

It appeared to happen round about when Cortana was talking about The Domain.
Anyone know if a script transcript exists online somewhere?

I’m not sure that’s all it is. I believe the designation is what group they fall under I’m pretty sure when John and Thel speak it says unsc and sos respectively. So Cortana’s switching from domain to created is interesting.
Also OP what mission is this on i cant seem to find Cortana is //Created from the very start of Reunion. Warden is //Domain always. John and Blue are //Blue team.
I’ll have a run through on easy and DVR the required parts.
I actually thing their is a lot of story going on in some of the dialog as you run, walk, fight, parts that are easily missed particularly if your playing Heroic on.

Really sorry guys I played through again and found I was mistaken. It was Warden Eternal that showed as //Domain which still leaves questions that need answered.
If The Domain was so broken how the hell did he become so powerful, where has he been all this time and why did Guilty Spark or Terminals never mention him?
