Halo 5 coop not available?

trying to play coop on halo 5. But both my roommate and I get “Error retrieving data center connection quality information. Please try again later”.

We are playing it using Xbox Gamepass. We have tried restarting both Xbox and the entire network. We also tried switching who was the party leader. Opening up privacy of the party to anyone.

Is coop not available on halo 5 anymore?

Coop should be there. Can you try playing a match online together? This error typically means there is a problem contacting the server.
Edit: there were some reports of general XBL outages earlier today. Maybe that’s what was happening?

Xbox has been experiencing some live outages these past few weeks it could be due to that.
