I was wondering since I bought the master chief controller if I should use the code when halo 5 comes out or if it is possible to use it now and open it here and if it is how do I do that? Thanks in advance if anyone replies.
You can redeem the code now. Go to profile. Customize spartan and see or equip the item.

No, you can’t use it on waypoint. Just redeem the code and when you boot up Halo 5 yo will have a Gold Promotional Req Pack which includes the dauntless/resolute visor and a variety of other bits and bobs.
I couldn’t find a place to redeem your codes on Halo Waypoint, so i’d just say Activate the codes on your xbox after uve installed the game.

As of now, you can technically open any req packs on waypoint, that feature was literally added today.

OK so I got the Master Chief controller and put my code in about A month ago.I am just now attempting to play the game and decided to play around with my spartans apearance.I opened the pack,and the only pack,and it was just the bonus items from pre-ordering the game. I got my code thru the phone.Gamestops computers were acting up so it wouldn’t give me my code so they had to call me later that day to give it to me.The guy on the phone was kind enough to actually text the code to me.I still have it and just tried again but it says I already used it.So does this basically mean I can’t get my visor?
Nah mate u can unlock it through normal req packs but it’ll take a while
