Halo 5 - Concerns about Multiplayer

Just one major concern:

Please don’t break the feel of Halo multiplayer by making it more similar to COD !!
Unlike some belief, COD multiplayer is not some sort of benchmark; rather its really nothing (and very ordinary) compared to halo’s.
But now it looks like we are moving to a hybrid design of COD/Halo…

Please enable friendly fire, remove “visions” to see through walls etc…
The very concept of skillful battles, stealth and tactical multiplayer gameplay is declining… (as per Halo 4 reviews and videos, and personal opinion).

Anyone else feel the same?

really dude. They get rid of classes, put everyone on an even playing field, give everyone the same abilities, add back in descope, make a slight ascetic change to the already existing halo ADS, And its some CoD clone?

Listen, if advanced warfare never came out then halo 5 would look completely new. But, because of that one call of duty game sharing just a few similarities to halo 5, its a CoD all of a sudden.

Remember when change was cool? Now change happens and we want the game to stay the same. Which CoD had been doing for years and we hated them for it.

Stuff like no friendly fire, visions to see enemies through walls, ordinance drops, simply breaks the core of halo’s multiplayer gameplay.
Its okay if they add some new elements, some new features, its all fine. But not change the fundamentals of the gameplay itself.

I’m not making even the slightest reference to COD AW, nor have I mentioned in my post even once that its a clone (I mentioned “hybrid”).
I’m only talking about the feel of the multiplayer gameplay, and I’m trying to focus more on the point that it should be more like the older halos and not Halo 4, to be precise.
Its actually more of expectations after seeing Halo 4.
Ofcourse 343i’s done a good job, and the multiplayer previews do seem really fun.

Oh, my bad, I thought you were directly taking a jab at halo 5.

And not to worry, the seeing through walls and ordinance drops are gone.

Oh no problem

Ah well that’s relieving news!

And personally speaking, I’d actually like the legacy scope to stay (instead of the modified appearance of ADS) for scoped weapons like BR, DMR and Pistol. That made halo really unique and different, in a good way of course.

Honestly there is no See through walls any more. Yes there is sprint, thruster pack, clamber and the like but from what I’ve seen, the gameplay I’ve seen, it does look like Halo again. It does look once again like an Arena shooter.

Funny thing is that i think CoD AW took things from Titanfall…

i don’t think even a hour can go by without one of these threads being made.

^

Halo 5 is Halo 2/3 with extra movement and melee abilities.

No one needs to worry about anything except the removal of all the super annoying chirps and squeaks that seem to plague our beloved violent and destructive halo game.

Exactly the same. But unfortunately that is the way the game is headed, at least so far. It could all change though, and I’m hoping for the best that it will.
