Now that 343 has confirmed 3 new modes and a map that isn’t a remix complaints on the forums appear to be on a decline…Aside from connection complaints I haven’t came across much…
343 also seems to be listening to complsints about customization slowly fixing the UI, adding more colors, fixing emblems etc…
A few months from now Halo 5 and the forums will be in great shape at this rate :D!
I hate that Halo 5 got rushed and shipped without all of the needed content, but the new color options and some gamemodes are a leap in the right direction.

I’m glad we got it unfinished tbh
Slowly releasing content has extended the lifecycle for me instead of playing 10-15 modes to death over a couple months everything constantly feels fresh with monthly rollouts I’m always looking forward to the next batch of content

generally it’s also sadly because everyone who was complaining about the game at launch has either traded it in or uninstalled yet we still remain on top 10 which is a fantastic sign. I think halo 5 will become the best multiplayer halo game since halo 2 (I think halo 3 and reach are insanely overrated) now if there was only something we could do about the short and badly paces campaign… but sadly there is little to be done when it comes to that unless if 343 is willing to add campaign dlc whoch I doubt they will there were some great things about it… but ultimatly campaignwise it probably will always feel like an inbetween game…

I agree in that the complaints will always be around, someone always trying to get the game ‘improved’ while the larger majority are fine with it. The biggest one i see right now is helioskrill armour being added and people thinking it diminishes the fact you should have to beat mcc on legendary, while most don’t mind everyone getting a chance to unlock it finally.

Without a doubt they’ll always be around they’ve been around since Halo 2 
I guess I just wanted to make a thread sharing my enjoyment in the fact that on the front page of the Halo 5 forums I can see some hype and speculation threads not just this sucks that sucks nerf this buff that 343 sucks etc.

They’ve slowed down because not as many new people are coming to the game anymore. Complaints are always large early because so many people are just getting the game, so people who have been complaining realized that 343 isn’t listening so they can either stop complaining and just accept this sub-par game or leave.
Well people are complaining about Helioskrill now, so… not like it was that hard anyways.

I’m pretty sure you’re in the minority believing it is sub-par it got mostly positive reviews at launch and has only been improving ever since…

So many professional critics gave this game great reviews sure you shouldn’t take reviews as fact but such an overwhelmingly positive critical success wouldn’t occur for something “Sub-Par”

I wonder how many of those companies were paid off by Microsoft. If you want a real review, go watch Angry Joe’s video or Zero Punctuation’s video. IGN and Gamespot will give anything a 10/10 if they were paid enough money. Just look at Call of Duty.

The only thing I’m kind of disappointed about is that there is only one map… Its not that big of a deal though
I just hope the new “arena” map isn’t a griffball map and I hope its a true arena mp map…
With 343 though, anything is possible… that’s the scary part
Edit: also disappointed they didn’t at least mention the MCC…

There has been zero proof that Gamespot or IGN ever got paid for a review…
People use that as an excuse for when something doesn’t go their way…
“Oh a game I don’t like got a 9/10!?! Must be paid off!”
CoD is a very popular target of this people fail to see that millions of people love CoD…It sells like Hotcakes every year a bad game wouldn’t do that…

Exactly this more likely. It’s not that they have answered and fixed complaints it’s gamers giving up. Go to the MCC forum. Complaints have slowed down there too. But not because MCC is a flawless game now it’s because every one including 343 have given up it.

Don’t worry. People will complain about the new map and the new modes once they’re out. And everything and anything we ever get.
