Hi guys, I didn’t get to play the Halo 5 beta but I’ve heard really good things.
For someone who has played it and Halo 3, how does it compare to Halo 3 gameplay?
I’d say it’s better than Halo 3’s gameplay. From what we’ve played so far anyway. We still know nothing about the other multiplayer experiences.
100% better then H3…then again H3 is awful. Now if we were talking H2, I’d only say it’s slightly better. (But that is still very good.)

I disagree with Halo 3. Halo 3 is a masterpiece IMO.

How? Weak story, Clunkfest movement, Dumb BR, Sniper was not able to be battled with the BR and awful wep balance.
I guess it had good maps, and the SL.
Halo 3 was always my favourite Halo multiplayer, and Halo 5 is the first one since that actually gives me a strong desire to win matches.

- Amazing soundtrack
- Great story - well crafted and more fleshed out than H2
- Competitive multiplayer
- Great maps

You won’t get “the right answer”, because everybody has different opinions. What did you like and dislike in H2, 3, Reach & 4?

Really akward pacing. Lots of COD esque mechanics. Huge maps with weapon with crazy range causing boring gameplay. Almost every encounter ends with someone trying to thrsuter and sprint away.
It’s similar to Halo 3 in terms of starting weapons and emphasis on team work. I’d say it seems more like a modern Halo 3, but I suppose I should wait until the game is out to say that for sure (at least to see what the rest of the maps are like).
It’s kinda like a mix of the best parts of Halo 4 and the best parts of Halo 3.
I always hated 3. I felt that it was the weakest of the original 3 games.

Halo 3 had the best big battles and vehicle warfare out of ALL the Halo games, in both campaign and multiplayer. FACT.

There were more holes in Halo 3’s plot than in a hunk of swiss cheese. That said, the campaign environments and level design were superior to Halo 2. The Halo 3 missions Crow’s Nest, The Storm, The Ark, and The Covenant are phenomenal. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Halo 2’s campaign and its story certainly made more sense than Halo 3’s, but those missions are just so fun to play over and over again. The missions that come closest from Halo 2 are probably Outskirts and Metropolis.

While true, OP was speaking of the story…not the atmosphere…but honestly I still feel H2>H3 BUT that can be argued…H3 having a great story can not be argued for.

I’m starting yo have doubts you even played it if that’s how you think firefights went
