First off we don’t have the update yet, so we don’t know exactly what we’re getting just yet, the community wants more gamemodes, correct me if I’m wrong but the December update hasn’t said anything about that and the new maps include 2 forge maps and the social playlist is just another BTB playlist that is unranked. So where are all the gametypes like, koth, oddball, assault, one flag, clan matches, multi team, neutral bomb, neutral flag, doubles, swat objectives, snipers, infection, grifball, ect. This update is basically forge with one new warzone map, the other map is a plaza remix, and I already said the other two are forge maps. 343 has not delivered.

The December list is just built off of the community update. Those were things that they said are coming in the December update.

This says that one of them will be big team battle, not the only social playlist.
Yes more gametypes are needed and wanted. If additional gametypes do not come with the December update that ask will move to the top of the list.

yeah they said playlists, not playlist. There will be more than just BTB.

That’s still a major problem if they don’t add them, I’m glad it’s not just social BTB, but that means we will have to wait until the middle of January for the next update to get more than a few gamemodes and that would be 3 months since launch before they add core gametypes to Halo 5, that’s not delivering.

I agree that the gametypes need to be added and would prefer them ASAP. However this thread is not asking how well do you feel they have delivered, it is trying to be an objective view of what the community wants and what 343 has given us. New gametypes have not been delivered. That is fact, it will stay on the list until 343 does deliver them.

You sir are much more optimistic and positive about Halo 5 than I am. Hope they deliver more even though the population is is plummeting faster than Halo 4 simply because there is so little content. The gameplay, sound, and visuals are there.

As long as I can continue to find matches within a reasonable time I will continue to play Halo 5.
I think my optimism is at a normal level and only appears to be so high because of the pessimism and negativity that run rampant on these forums. A candle glows bright in a pitch dark room.
