Hey, as a new player i will ask. Is that possible to find a Halo coach here or anywhere else? And is it effective at all? Also do you think he met by Onyx rank or higher?
And if you are a coach, hit me up.
I’m a foreigner, so we should also match our time. (Europe Zone)

Look in the HCS section, it’s actually pretty common.

i think the best way to learn about Halo is by playing it yourself. I know this in a way that I have been the one from a group of people who played Halo and i was unmatched in that. The ones that get teached will always be a few steps behind of the ones that gain experience through playing. Sure getting teached gains you fast results and knowledge but learning through experience gives you the lasting results.

When in doubt: practice magnum/brs to be able to get perfect kills more often than not (says the man who can’t do that).
As others gave said though: experience and practice are important.

I cant agree with that ad i will explain why. First of all i must point out, that i play for my self and not for competitive scene and i want to squeeze maximum of it. Second I’ve played Destiny for 3 years, yes it is another story, but anyway this game contain PvP and it is FPS. And after switching to from PvE to PvP in Destiny, i dint do any research on forums/reddit/YT and played as a could and struggled, time passed i became better player and started to dig out different resources. But if in the beginning some wise man would tell me some things i would progress much faster. And now if people ask me hey man, where to start, teach me. I know what to tell people how to progress faster and what to do.
This basics i can transfer to Halo bit i need more details which i can get faster with good coach. Ive played 5 days and got Platinum 2, think I’m on the right track anyway.
Just hear me out. Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect. This can be done faster with coach.

nothing really makes a perfect player, there is always human error. Sure you can try to search for techniques but what really matters is what is between your ears.

and i kind of think that the ranking is broken, its pretty much up to your team since its win based system. It differs really much either if you are playing in a team that uses microphones or if you are playing with random people. I think this has been one of the first Halos where i havent seen a sure way to see who is actually a good player without a example clip since rating is win based and K/D depends whether you have been playing objective or slayer type of gamemodes, if someone plays objectives they better expect some sacrifices for K/D to prevent enemy from scoring.

You dont get me. It is not about technique it is about game understanding, mechanics etc. Many factors. Your brain is important. But why Pro sportmans need a coach? Tennis players for example? Serena Williams still got a coach, but why? She knows everything and achieved everything. Think about it.

Ive played with team and solo, mics on and off. You can blame ranking system, but everyone is in similar conditions.

rare people have such understanding of sports strategies as the ones that have decades of experience of it. And the coach usually have the strategies but they dont have the physiology, at least anymore, to play by themselves. Now this is different in games since its not based in physicality but more on wits and said experience.

id say that bunch of random people have disantage over the people in team that actually work together. And i rather would like it more that people could be ranked by their personal abilities rather than whether the whole team wins.

yeah, but id rather have variety in what i play and i just think that teams should be prioritized to connect to other teams. This couldnt However prevent teams from connecting to random people if there could be no other teams available. Just to balance team-based games a bit more.
