Halo 5 Chief Trailer Theory

So in the Master Chief AD for Halo 5, chief says “This…Is this what you wanted? Is this what you were looking for? Was everything you compromised, everything you’ve done, worth it? Was it?”
Many people believe he was talking to himself, but I believe otherwise. If you look closely he is staring up at Infinity. 2 photos here: http://imgur.com/zlXJFeU,KXCgxWX#0
Now if this is true, I have ideas as to what chief was really talking about. As far as we know, this takes place on Sangheilos. The red sky, the structures. My theory is that Chief may have found out about ONI and Kilo Five. Spoilers for The Thursday War below.

In TTW, Jul 'Mdama is kidnapped by Kilo Five and ONI begins to experiment on him, with Genetically Altered Sangheilian crops. ONI plans to use this when (It will happen) The civil war on sangheilios between The Arbiter and The Servants of The Abiding Truth tips to ones favor, in order to keep the Sangheilis population low so that they won’t pose a threat to Humanity. When Humanity gets all high and mighty again…

  1. They will dispose of the sangheili for good/colonize Sangheilios after they dispose of them
  2. They will enslave/ control them
  3. Continue to support the civil war
  4. peace (unlikely, given everyones opinion of them in Kilo-Five trilogy

Since Chief and Thel 'Vadam are allies/friends, he may feel differently about ONIs plans than most would think. I think he plans to take down Locke, ONI, and possibly Infinity to thwart ONIs plan and save Sangheilios. It would be a nice change of pace from…Kilo-Fives way of thinking.
Anyways that’s my theory. What do you guys think? Am I looking to far into things? Or is it a solid idea/theory? Let me know down below.

A monster plot, and one most certainly not unsatisfactory. However, I do think it may be going too far with expectations. Time will tell, but speculation never hurts. I, for one, would love to see this shift in the current.

The Chief risking Humanity’s safety for whatever friendship he has with Thel 'Vadam is also unlikely. But as the Chief words it, it appears he may not have been anticipating a full-frontal offensive by the Swords of Sanghelios, if that tide does come to pass. There seems to be a lot of conflicting theories, ranging from multiple potentials. What about Jul 'Mdama and the Absolute Record? The Didact and his Prometheans? Halsey? The way it seems to be going, perchance all of this merges together.
