What did everyone think of the Halo 5: Guardians campaign? Did you play the campaign on heroic or legendary and what was the difference to you guys? Did you like the ending to the campaign? I thought the campaign in Halo 5 on legendary ending was pretty awesome but thought they should’ve add more master chief mission
I liked the campaign, but I gotta admit I wasn’t expecting that Cortana would turn into a an obsessive psychopathic villain XD
It had promise, but I’m still not sure why 343 needed to lie about aspects of it and people like Frankie insult people who didn’t like Cortana becoming evil.
I had a genuinely good time in the campaign. I played it on legendary so there were a few frustrating bits but otherwise I think it’s a nice addition to the series and a good setup for a big conclusion in halo 6 perhaps.
Campaign was alright especially when it confirmed that new Halo at the end. Just was slightly disappointed in the Master Chief vs. Locke thing.
I was kinda disappointed with it honestly. Half of that disappointment comes from the misleading marketing, which frankly, was pitching a game that looked to be a lot better than the one we got. They totally abandoned all of those hanging threads from Halo 4’s ending. I wish they would have explored Chief coping with the loss of Cortana, as well as the marketed story line that looked really intriguing. It’s a shame, because the moment to moment gameplay is pretty great, loved the first two levels.

I did not get much out of it, in some ways it had more definition and in some ways it seemed to rushed. and way to short for my liking but that is just my opinion on that, I also think that a solo mission by the Master Chief would have been well placed and the entire Osiris team did not make for a good coupling in the campaign ( going to send a make shift Spartan team against the battle hardened and experienced blue team? That was a big joke almost a insult to its self.
Pluses on the campaign where the new worlds, and maybe I must play it a few more times but the whole Osiris team is really a stretch. Think they could have come up with a better team.
