I hope 343 brings back Brutes and throw out the Prometheans. I loved fighting Brutes, especially when they’re enraged at you. I don’t mind the Prometheans, just I HATE the Watchers. They’re so annoying, when injured they fly off like -Yoink-. Can anyone relate?
Throw out Prometheans? They won’t. They’ve become an important part and now they’re kind of required considering the Didact is coming back.

True, the Didact does have a big role in Halo now.

Well The didact is hopefully dead but, oni considers him contained blue team did it… well, it looked like he was composed but he dissolved lets say that I’m sure he Isn’t coming back
With, that delt with it most likely will be about Halsey, Locke, Chief and cortana and most likely Lasky. But the description reads Peace is shattered when human colonies are unexpectedly attacked.So it doesn’t seem to have connection with Didact or Halsey or Cortana even. But it might.
after the events of Halo 4 if u read Halo Escalation(next 72 hours after Halo 4) Master chief encounters the Didact again and kills him by teleporting him to one of the Halo installations and then Master Chief blew it up ultimately killing Didact for good. Also in this comic it explains how Master Chiefs helment was cracked(if u saw E3 2013 Halo 5 trailer)
Actually it would make since to put these events in the beginning of Halo 5 to help non reader of the comic understand how Master Chief cracked his hement and killed Didact.That makes more logical since

The light rifle being in the game pretty much confirms the Prometheans will be in. As for the brutes. I wouldn’t mind them returning, but I don’t think they should spend extra effort in shoehorning them in if they don’t have to. Brutes didn’t really add anything extra to the game except as big bad guys for the elites to kill after they became the good guys. They just sort of shot at you and went crazy when their friends were killed; and even the fun berserking was toned down to almost nothing in Halo 3.
But if they did something new and cool or at least made them better it’d be pretty cool. I’d love to see an actually useful Spiker.

Throw out Prometheans? Oh no please, they’re pretty cool, and personally I REALLY like to fight vs a great variety of enemies. Yeah I hope Brutes will return in Halo 5 with Storm Covenant, and also I would like a Promethean - Flood fight 
!
And of course the Arbiter (who was confirmed in the same site as Didact for Halo 5) with their Elites

They should make a halo completely based on back story of the Brutes, in that case
No im just playing, That is by far the dumbest -Yoink- I’ve ever read. They play the primary role of the whole game. Why the -Yoink- would brutes be the primary in this Halo trilogy when its based off the Fore Runner.

I would like a mission where you see all enemies fighting at once. (all covies, flood, and forerunners) I would just sit there and be thrilled to see that.

I haven’t read most of the books, but I think in one of them, they give the Brute’s back story.
