Halo 5 campaign (Solo) not saving

I’ve never been able to save during the campaign. At first I thought it was just a restart issue, but I turned off my X1 and haven’t played it for a few days. Yesterday I began binge playing and realized 4 mission in that it really would not save.

  • I’m not saving to the cloud, it’s directly on my xbox - I’ve restarted - My xbox is connected to the internetThere aren’t really any other games I play on there. I have SMITE downloaded and that plays normally, but I don’t have to save anything on there it’s all automatic from the game.

Any suggestions?

Update:

I am able to continue from where I left off using the mission log, but am still unable to save games.

After an update to the system I am able to save.
