Recently grinded Normal difficulty to try to complete the game and know the story and how it plays out in Halo 5.
I have to admit, there was a to of action, universe building, and new changes coming out of the story. Immediately after I finished the story, I was a little unsure of what to feel. I think the story left a little to be desired (because it will obviously continue!), but also, because I wanted more closure than was given.
After sleeping on the story last night, I feel a little better about where Halo has been left off. I am not completely satisfied, but I feel that it was a good story. I think once the next game comes out, we will better understand the story in its entirety. I feel that this Halo game ranks somewhere below Halo 2 and 3 in terms of narrative and character building, but equal with 2 and 3 in terms of gameplay and action. (Again, I was pushing through fast own normal to see the plot unfold). I liked it, and I am sure it will grow on me more however, I cannot shake the feeling that I wanted more in terms of character building.
TL:DR Good story, left more to be desired.
