Halo 5 Campaign Idea

Lets just say for instance, the diadact maraculously survives and is -yoinked- off. What if he, seeing a chance to obtain stronger warriors, decides to ressurect the brutes the elites killed off during their crusade and equip them with promethean equipment. And what if one of those brutes happens to be tartarus.

Discuss

the diadact fell into the composer along with cortana. what if they are recomposed into 1 hyper Promethean knight with insane amounts of intelligence and strength that master chief must overcome?

The brutes and elites would go back to killing each other and Diadact would be left there looking kinda dumb.

For the Halo 5 campaign i would like a few stories in parallel of one another, but not like it was in ODST or Halo 2.For example i was talking about playing as say the arbiter but uninterrupted by hopping back and forth.Maybe even play as a certain Grunt that get tied between events involving the Arbiter and the Chief.

Though its asking allot, The Halo 5 campaign needs to go on a grand scale to make up for the slack in halo 4’s campaign.Yes Halo 4 campaign was good but no one can argue that it did in fact lack “texture” or a more defined “flavor”.I guess you could just say it felt too short, unmemorable.

One of the most memorable campaigns in halo was Halo 2’s, Its not because i think it was better but because it portrayed events from 2 perspectives.Like what they could have done was let players do mini missions as Cortana to get a better understanding of what makes Cortana special in the game. How im not sure, would be difficult to make work in a Halo game.Maybe they could have switching to the Arbiter with a couple of cutscenes to show what was going on throughout the universe and could of explained fully the reason of covenant presence on Requiem.

The reason people are disappointed with Halo 4 campaign was lack of detail. For Halo 5 343 needs to go above and beyond what has ever been done in any Halo so far if they want to fully bring back its fanbase and create an even bigger fan base. The money they made is fine but imagine if they made 10x that with Halo 5 and had 10-20x the population they had at Halo 4 launch. Now, i would be impressed if they got 3/4 the launch sales they made with halo 4

One more thing for Halo 5 and what is needed for its multiplayer. We need dedicated servers.I would happily pay a monthly subscription if i could get away from the flawed and horrible P2P/“host” connection. Its the worst possible system you could use for a FPS multiplayer game. Some games i find myself playing with 1-2 second delay times in everything i do.From movement, shooting, and just reloading can become aggravating tasks that only the host does not suffer from to the extent of what i would experience, which is of course, aggravating.

I just hope Halo 5 makes me beg for more, not just say “ah just another Halo game, big whoop”.

You can’t Compose dead beings.

> …explained fully the reason of covenant presence on Requiem…

I got kinda tired about these “explain why the Covenant are on Requiem” thing already. Just because it was not explained in the game, does not mean it has never been explained. You know, 343 has released a bunch of books that explain this very clearly. Don’t ask 343 to do what they have already.

Now relating the main topic, it is not possible to compose death creatures. If you read Primordium, you can learn about a Forerunner asking desperately to compose Gamelpar, who was an ancient human about to die.

Except nobody should have to read the books to understand what is going on in Halo 4’s story.

Frank O’Conner: Even in Halo 4 we want to make sure we have a story with a beginning, middle and an end that doesn’t require that you read a book, that doesn’t require that you have any previous understanding of the Halo universe. These things should all be complimentary, but not essential.

I just want a mutated Brute Chieftain…

@DecepticonCobra
You can still understand pretty well the story. Terminals explain the Didact and the Librarian. FUD explained Lasky. And people seem to be forgetting that Spartan Ops is still going and expanding Jul’s story and also Infinity’s.
Why is the Covenant (which we should not be calling Covenant anyways) on Requiem? Jul hates humans and pretends to worship the Forerunners, and he wants technology to fight against the Humans and Thel.

Not sure why people cannot understand this simple story…
