Halo 5 campaign DLC

I think it’d be pretty cool if bungi- I mean 343, made a DLC for the campaign, explaining Osiris’ origins and who exactly these new players are. And how exactly blue team was reunited with the chief after the fall of reach.

Another addition would be explaining where the Promethean soldiers came from and what happened to the didact after halo 4 (for those who didn’t buy the comics).

I think it’d be nice and at least satisfy some of the older halo players (myself included) with these obvious plot holes.

Any other thoughts you guys?

343 said that there would be no Campaign dlc. Sorry

No amount of DLC can make Tanaka any less of a piece of cardboard.

Fair enough…I can’t even rver what she sounds like lol

Man…that really sucks

I would rather explore Chief, and none of these boring washed out characters. Chief and Chief only, unless you can actually capture Blue team’s aesthetic.

? What are you tryin to say?

Yeah, there is no salvaging this story. Halo 5’s campaign was just garbage, easily the worst of all the campaigns.

I’ve got to agree with you there…it could have been so much better…

It’s not coming, period. Just wait will Halo 6 comes out if you want more story.

Yeah, while it would be awesome to see how Chief got reunited with Blue Team, or how Locke formed Osiris, we probably won’t be getting any campaign DLC.

I think the closest you are going to get to “dlc” for Halo 5’s campaign is Halo Wars 2 which takes place immediately after Halo 5 and apparently is going to tie into Halo 6.

Wait what? I thought Halo wars 2 is supposed to take place before H:CE?

No. Halo Wars is set 20-something years prior to Halo: CE, but Halo Wars 2 is set after Halo 5.

I’d rather have another season of Spartan Ops personally. I’d rather play as my own Spartan instead of having to play as Locke the whole time.

Huh okay, then does this mean the Brutes are coming back to the main game?

Not necessarily. The enemies in Halo Wars 2, known as “The Banished” are a group of various once Covenant-affiliated species, but which, we can assume, were banished from the Covenant. Whether Brutes will return to main Halo titles remains to be seen.

They did. Locke got his own series, Vale her own novel, Tanaka appeared in the comics & Buck, well, we all know him & love him & know what we love him for.
Just look up the expanded universe, there’s been everyone introduced.

I sure hope so man

Has there ever been dlc for any of the halo’s campaigns?
