So One complaint I have seen that’s actually constructive is the button layouts for Halo 5.
This day and age a Game like halo the player should be able to Map out the buttons for their individual style of play. Personally i dont have an issue with the default button layout, but for many other it seems to be and issue. and even i feel i could optimize the layout to better suit my gameplay style. so what do you all think.
Do you think Halo 5 should offer as Button mapping option for the full release of Halo 5: Guardians
Agreed.
I personally want the Halo Reach layout as an option but having one that is full customizable seems more than reasonable.

Saw your message in another thread. People all over the place feel the same way. Even i feel i can make something more suitable for my play-style

Glad to know im not crazy
There is literally no reason why a console game can’t have fully mappable buttons. PC games have done it for over 15 years, yet console games can’t?
Providing mapping zoom to the triggers don’t allow you to automatically rezoom after being hit because you’ve still got the triggers pressed (ie: you are forced to release and press the trigger again to zoom again).
I’d quite like it if I could swap left trigger/grenade throw with crouch/left thumbstick and visa versa, so that if I wanted to crouch all that I’d have to do is hold the left trigger. Trying to hold the left thumbstick inwards is a real strain on my joints.
Yes. 100% yes. Fighting games have been doing this for YEARS. PC has been doing it for over a decade. No reason console games are limited to presets. I hate presets.
I prefer recon/old default over the new stuff, but I’d much rather have button mapping. Why this hasnt become a thing yet is beyond me.
