So in know this may sound crazy but i would think halo can pull off a new BTB playlist but it would be called HTB for Huge team Battle and i mean like huge as in you need vehicles to get to the other side of the map in an expedient manner or else sprint it and get there tomorrow .i lied the teamwork of vehicles especially in reach we had those pelicans i think they were called not sure but i would go and drop my teammates off in it to get the flag then come back around and give them cover fire then lift them to our side it was epic teamwork at its best.i could imagine Huge Team Battle would be a scene out of Reach when they are assaulting the covies in all those warthogs and the banshees come down and cause chaos and all hell breaks loose see both team would race to the vehicles or other weapons and crash into each other in the middle then there would be a battle among both teams in a firey wreck of vehicle carnage then suddenly more veehiles show up to add to the chaise then there would be different battles going on all over the map it will creat endless fun that is never going to tget stale oooooooooooooooooooooooooh yea i get tignels just thinking about it.
I don’t see it going more than 12v12.
Am I the only person that thinks a team battle any larger than 24 players is a really bad idea?

Depends on the map, could be fun if there are good designed maps.

I do too. The probability of 4+ players all firing a BR at a single target increase as more players are added to the game. Too many players would create frequent single-burst kills.
Perhaps if Halo introduced a shield and health gate system, which would nerf spike damage.

Having more than 10 players on a team is ridiculous, but if you really want huge BTB…
Halo 1 seemed like the only map where things were so massive that you NEEDED vehicle support. I think it would be interesting to see some of these maps return for a 8v8 or larger… but as you increase the number of players, you decrease the competitive nature, and too many people on one team, and then you have too many mics flaring with call outs and it brings about no one being able to understand each other…
I don’t think that we should see more than 8v8’s personally, but I am not one to fight it if 343 can show they can bring as amazing a content as they have for the 4v4 from the Beta.
I could see 16 vs 16 in a spartan setting (but this would require significant work on map styles that 343 have never been done before in Halo), and possibly even more people if there was a different game mode that allowed for AI infantry (non-spartan).
This basically like my thread but I said remade maps
I want a massive supper too!

As for the MICs there is a solution it worked in battlefield 4, basically each team is placed into fireteams one member is the lead only he can communicate with the commander and he desifers information to the rest of the team making each team speak to within themselves. it may not be the best solution but it could work.

Imagine a forge world where you can place AI to test maps or to re create battles and you can place a surplus amount of different AI from any race and any type in halo

How does that work in BF4? Does having one player distribute information to the rest of the team work all that well in your opinion?

Not really because no one has mics but if your team has mics or can at least hear one person it usually works well i was able to hear my team leader and usually he would let us know where the commander was dropping some ammo off. or usually on conquest it would be like flexing us to a certain location to help out. im sure halo can perfect it though.
I like this concept. In my opinion large scale wars are awesome

I personally would like to see BTB matches get no larger than 12v12 anything over that would be overkill.
I love the idea of HTB. A gamemode where we might get to drive large vehicles like scarabs and mammoths, as well as, things like Sabres, long swords, phantoms, pelicans. Maybe there can even be corvettes and frigates in the sky that you can enter and destroy like in battlefront, as well as, being able to get in drop pods and drop behind enemy lines. That would be true halo warfare, ideally 16v16 no more than 20v20. Thinking about it makes me excited.

That sounds super intense but the drop pod thing sounds cool probably be an interesting capture the flag mode. or bomb delivery between ships or enemy scarabs and mammoths capture the flag with drop pods sounds crazy too.

Your inability to spell, or choose the correct words, made this very hard to comprehend, but they will most likely have 12v12 tops, or keep it at 8v8. I wouldn’t mind it, but I also wouldn’t play the gametype very often.
As good as an idea this is, for something above 12v12 the map would have to be probably bigger than a battlefield map, health and shields will need to be stronger to counter insta-deaths from BR’s and dying from like a falcon or whatever the case may be. Dying instantly is not fun and no one will play a game where it take them awhile to get somewhere just for them to die to something like a BR or sniper. REAL Spartan Abilities will need to make a showing too like armor lock to counter vehicles in some situations or running on walls or scaling a skyscrapers with parkour.
Major things need to be innovated, added and rethought to make anything huge.
But I commend the effort.
