Regardless of how you feel about the game is it not safe to say that Halo 5 has made the most money with its ReQ system? Dlcs used to be between 10-20 $ and you’d get maps, armor, and new game modes. Now we’ve gotten to the point where 2 armor pieces and 3 weapon skins are $10?.. Is this due to Microsoft forcing the hand of 343 to do these nickel and dime tactics?
Correct me if im wrong but are there not players with 100% that haven’t spent a dime?
I don’t want this to become a “bash on 343” post I want to see how many agree with this and if by showing we know we can stop the bleeding of " less content for more money"

No, you’re right. A good amount actually.
OP, I don’t think that’s true. Halo 5 sold significantly less copies than Halo 3, and at $60 a pop, I don’t think REQs made up that difference.

Due to the last spartan pack that had the exclusives skins yes you had to pay for a chance at them
They didn’t sell many copies, but a lot other stuff though

Nope, you could buy those packs with RP.
What’s the comparison of copies though? I don’t think H5 has hit a million has it?

I haven’t spent a nickel or a dime, other than paying for the digital copy of the game.
I wish there was a way to see the online population of playlists.

Its around a million. Which goes against your theory a lot haha
but dont act like ppl arent pouring a lot into reqs, i mean with the recent tourny didnt the prize start out at 1 million? then thanks to the req system got up to 2.5million
assuming not every penny in reqs went to the systems you could say they idk put anywehre between 40-60% of the req money into the HCS
even at that months ago the req system generated at least 3 million in a short amount of time
