I was watching game play footage of Halo 5 and although the BR is still a 3 round burst, watching it shoot made it seem like it was a single shot. Now I know there were 3 bullets being shot at a time because the clip would decrease 3 bullets for each shot but the rate of fire must be drastically increased. I don’t believe this is an improvement to the BR. To be honest, the only reason why I knew it wasn’t the DMR was because of its design. From watching the video it seemed like there was no difference in feel or how the gun shot between the DMR and BR. I understand the BR is for middle range fights and the DMR for longer range but there should be a difference in how they feel and shoot especially if one is a single shot and the other is a three round burst and in the video it did not look that way. Let me know what you guys think…

They also slowed down the sound effect of the BR firing so you can hear the shots more distinctly. I could hear them from the start, but eh. Hope this helps.
Does anyone else think that the br scope should be closed rather than open on the top. It looks really ugly to me.

It should be a small box like in the other games. Not even 343i likes the way it looks from what I’ve read on Twitter so it having changed is highly possible.

It should have Halo 4’s scope.
i think H5 br should look like H4 BR. H4 had probly the BEST looking weapons out of most of the series. The scope could be a box like H4’s and will look like 4 lines are going to the middle, then the redicule is there. and your ammo display could be at the top or bottom. prob solved. if 343 does this or not … lets hope they do 
I think it may just be the sound design.
speaking about the BR in halo 5, I wish they would make the ammo counter blue again. It looks really weird with it being red (manly b/c the spartan HUD has always had a blue theme going on) and it also is very hard to read how much ammo I still have. (yes i’m a weirdo who loves using the ammo counters on the guns)

yea in a game where the main story is taking about mankind’s ascension, and having won a war for the very survival of our race, have 6ft tall super soldiers, and space ships out the wazoo,
having a red dot sight on the BR is just like meh. I would like it if the had a scope more like the one on the pistol or the AR.
*fun fact, with a full face masked helmet like the one the Spartans use, you can’t aim down a guns sights, optic or iron sight. try if you can it’s really funny.
I agree. 343 PLEASE bring back the Halo 4 Br scope. It is not the BR with a half open red dot scope
343 couldnt even copy and past halo 2 - anniversary, they just put out TMCC and halo 5 already has a beta coming out this month and will be out in a year, let a game run for a while inbetween games its unnecessary, the reason halo 2 was the pinical of gaming was its individual skill which 343 stripped and its 6 year run before 3, they ask every player that doesnt matter or even have a clue to life how about asking top competitive pros not nerds who have .20 kd ratio, accept it y’all halo died when 3 stopped running R.I.P
