no.

I’ve been with the series since 2 and see no point in going back, Halo 3 started losing its popularity in 2009

Play cod if you wan’t to play the same game over and over.

^this or go back to Halo 3

But a lot of people who joined the franchise with Halo: Reach find Halo 2 and 3 slow and boring , (personally I was big fan of Halo 3).

Some people need to accept the changes and the fact that the Halo game mechanics have evolved.

I’ve been with it since Halo: CE and have always liked the fact that the game continues to evolve. I think I would get bored if was just the same multiplayer experience every time but with new maps.

I’m not saying every change has necessarily worked, but I like the fact they’re brave and want to push the boundaries and not rest on their laurels.

Lol, I’m showing my age with that sentence. I’ve linked to a definition in case some of you young 'uns have never heard it before

When I was playing Halo 3 in 2009 there were still hundreds of thousands of people playing day in, day out. Halo 3 was 2 years old at that point and was still competing for top spot with CoD:MW2 (Which was brand spanking new) for the next year.

Halo Reach and Halo 4 weren’t as popular, why is that? Reach and 4 have tried to bring the franchise forward, and in doing so have only pushed it backwards.
To say that the franchise shouldn’t return to its roots just because a game that was 2 years old wasn’t played as much as it was at release is just daft.
