So, we can’t play MCC, but theirs gonna be a beta in December… for another, largely untested game… is anyone else seeing issues here

Are you daft? The Beta is there to test Halo 5 MM. The game presumably will not even be released until Fall 2015. There should be NO issues testing the Beta gameplay 9 months before release. It will actually help development unlike Bungie’s PR stunt for Destiny.
