So I didn’t play the beta only cause I had a horrible experience with MCC, Ive also NEVER watched footage of the Beta. I today just watched some youtube videos and I’m curious as to why it looks and plays better than the finished game. Is there anyone who could shed some light on this? The UI looks cleaner. The maps look more next Gen. The victory poses looked awesome! Hugh fiving and excited that they won. Why where those pulled? Can anyone please explain to me. I’m very curious.
Looks better for sure. Final game plays better.
Does it? I’m not so sure. Like ive said, never played it but it looks like the older halos.

OK but why? They aren’t children, They are just like us… Its a simulation… My army buddies are the same way… It made it feel more real. That’s what made it childish? We haven’t, new games are looking better since it got updated to Windows 10 and can use directX 12. Check out Battlefield 1’s graphics, they look great.
Also, the beta only ran in 720p, and had some seriously rough edges. I notice low resolution shadow maps for a start, not great to look at. Plus I’d rather have a solid 60fps than have lots of eye candy in a competitive shooter.
Anyhow, if you want considerably better graphics then you’ll have to wait until next year when the Scorpio comes out. It’s being designed to render games at native 4k, but developers will be able to use lower resolutions and make the game prettier. I’d be happy with 1440p and lots of effects.

Kid, I’ve been playing since CE. I’ve been playing for halo for 15 years across four bloody gamertags. I guarantee you I’ve had more time played than you. Not that it would be bloody relevant…

The game is better off without the invasion of bro culture. That is my opinion and your complete lack of a good argument supporting it won’t change that.

I just want a game to look good TBH. Battlefield 1 might look good but I don’t think tis that great as far as graphics are concerned.

Another thing is I want games to look better than the game before and honestly I cant tell H5 is the sequel. idk.
The lighting is really the only thing in the Beta that is better than the final game. Gameplay was a lot worse in the beta. I only played it on day one because I disliked it so much. Kill times were way too fast.

Well it’s one of the better looking games on the Xbox One. I think you’re expecting too much, the Xbox One isn’t known for it’s graphics power. It was only comparable to mid range PC graphics cards when it was released.

Maybe you need to upgrade to an HDTV? Halo 5 has considerably more advanced graphics than Halo 4. Perhaps you don’t know what to look out for? Such as different materials, reflections, alpha effects, particle effects, tessellation, post processing etc etc.
