Halo 5 Beta: Notes on Smaller Things

I have watched almost every video on Halo 5 Beta, but I have not played it. However, here are some notes on smaller gameplay changes in the next Halo.
Visual helpers have turned to sounds:
-The hit markers are gone, and replaced with a ding sound
-No grenade indicators, but the noise of bouncing grenades have been increased
-Ordnance is now marked 10 (or 30?) seconds before it spawns in- a orange holograms shows what and where it will be. This is also announced by the Spartan chatter and the announcer
-Spartan chatter tells the player where enemies, deaths, and grenades are. I believe you can only hear your own team’s voice

Some things on weapons:
-Assault rifle and magnum are default starting weapons
-Pistol is stronger than before, and is a good weapon to use
-DMR has a large zoom, so using the smart-scope or “ADS” is a disadvantage at close range
-Battle rifle has a smaller zoom than the DMR
-Human-only weapons on the three maps shown, except the Prophets’ Bane
Forerunner and Covenant weapons will be returning, as shown by the energy sword and a Beta image of the light rifle

Hopefully this helps with some questions. If you got any other questions just ask below!

Hit-markers are still there, they just have an annoying sound now. I’ve watched Greenskull’s gameplay videos two or three times each and I see the hit markers.

Really? I watched his vids and didn’t see them. At least, not with grenades. I’m going to have to look again at VISUAL hitmarkers.

Where did you see the Light Rifle ?

Yeah if you look closely near the reticle as he’s firing, you’ll notice as he hits his enemy, the hit-markers appear and make the sound. It also looks like(As shown in his most recent vid today) that the hit-markers turn red for certain hits. Most likely head shots.

Thanks. It appears to be a new weapon though, as it does not resemble the Light Rifle. Well, maybe the initial concept art for Halo 4: http://www.halopedia.org/File:H4-Concept-LightRifle-Initial.jpg
