I recently finished downloading the Halo 5 Beta. I opened up the application on my Xbox One and it will takes you to the start page. Unfortunately, however, it will not let you access the main menu. If you click the start button (as the page instructs you to do) a message reading “There was an unexpected issu with the Halo servers. Please try again soon” comes up. You can still listen to the music from the start page though. Just wanted to let you guys know what to expect once you finish the download. Enjoy the beta.

Edit: If you open up the beta via Halo: The Master Chief Collection it will take you to the Halo Channel where you will get a glimpse of the last cutscene from Halo 2 Anniversary (the one with Locke and the Arbiter). After the clip ends you will be taken to the actual Halo 5 Beta application.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that title screen when I launched the game, less than 20 hrs left!

I honestly thought that I was going to be able to play it and there was a glitch or something. But sadly, This isn’t the case.

Still, Lovely music to listen to!

its second of the two added cutscenes to halo 2 anniversary on halo channel. if you go to the channel its under the halo 2 cinematics.
