Neat little idea, considering this forum.
It felt more like Halo than Halo 4 did. It truly does feel like a next-gen Halo title, the proper evolution to the experience we love. I greatly enjoyed the beta while it lasted but it certainly has ways to go.
It feltlike halo in a way that I never knew I wanted. But now all I think about is when halo 5 will come.

Yes compared to 4 it’s good but there’s still some work that can be done.

For real it did. All they did was take the base Halo gameplay and add onto it, exactly the same way Bungie did with hijacking and changing the melee system. If it wasn’t for the boosters it would play identically to ye olden Halos, which is why it’s so great. The boosters only make the combat even more interesting and a single shootout can last much longer now. If they can just write a proper story for Halo 5 it will be the best Halo ever.

It’s by far the most true to core Halo gameplay since Halo: Reach, or even Halo: 3.
Despite all the whiners, I know that this game will be the most true to Halo core gameplay formula, showing itself as superior to Halo 4.

I played it for about 8 days and lost interest. Not exactly sure why.

Yes, although the beta itself was rather average it’s made me even more excited for the full release. Can’t wait to see more on campaign, forge and BTB.
