Halo 5 Auto-Stabilize Question

Hey everyone,
I currently have an Elite controller running A, B, X, and Y all mapped to the back paddles. I run the default controller layout on Halo 5 along with the paddles. Now, I want to turn the automatic stabilize off so I have control of any jump shots or jump snipes I do. Is there a way to do this without zooming in on the sniper rifle since both stabilize and zoom are linked to the same button on it?

There is a setting in the halo 5 options to turn it off.
It changes it so you must click left stick while zoomed in to stabilize.
There is no way to do it without being zoomed in

The only thing I can think of is a different control scheme so that zoom isn’t clicking in LS

Dang. I rarely use zoom but I guess I’ll just have to get used to it.

zoom and a little longer range i awsome, i use Recon controller scheme whit jump, meele, sprint and thruster pack at the paddles

343 needs to look into this.

suggestion for a fix:

  • move stabilize to the A button/jump if your using any LT to smartscope button layouts. - disable 2nd zoom level function when airborn. - better yet give us a couple of button options.
