How come I can never find a game on balanced on HCS being Australian? And how come on slayer, balanced is just trying to find west coast server, That is 16,000km away and still laggy? Why can’t we use our server in Australia and bring people to us to make it a little more fair? Slowly getting over the wait…

Yep no nbn yet still on adsl I get 7mbps down 0.6 up and a ping to the Sydney azure servers around 160 but when playing the USA up to 650 what’s your speeds like ?

My Speeds are 90 down 30 up but the NBN network is just as bad as adsl… My ping goes through the roof on peek hour and does not help this situation.
I ping to 300ms to US servers but the bullet delay is real… I call it marshmallow bullets. My xbox ping is 86ms but still servers are just crap. We need to bring people to our Australian servers from outside Australia.

i get 1-4 mbps it’s really trash. but somehow I get great connection in multiplayer games. i think I get ADSL2+ if that means anything.

I couldn’t agree more about the servers and yeah the bullet delay is massive but the blank shots annoy me more and they get worse the longer the distance I can’t hit guys with a be yet they my shields with an AR in Wz it’s a nightmare also shooting an entire AR clip into guys arvo almost point blank and they just eat then and kill you in two shots happens most games I play
I swapped to Expanded Search a long time ago playing out of Brisbane. I was not finding matches any other way. H3, HR, H4, H5 - 25,000+ matches and I think 1,000 have been on Good Connection.
Expanded mode is the only way i’ve been able to get a match in every game mode. Sure, Warzone starts promptly, but every other mode can take ages to load a game

If the BTB map isn’t forged, or is a default 343i map, then I’ve found they don’t really lag out all that much.
NBN might be to blame for that?

I think it would be much appreciated by all of us IF we could bring people from outside Australia to our servers or some sort of closer server. I remember using a server near Hong Kong that was less laggy then the west coast server in US. I have a netduma router that can monitor everything. Should be a vote IMO

My house isn’t NBN yet. It’ll be interesting to see how my connection changes when they finally get around to my neighbourhood.

Oh it’s so bad during the day I get a 10 ping to local servers but after 5pm it gets to 160+ so I can only imagine how bad it is to the azure servers in the USA
I don’t bother with any other searches other than expanded anymore. Here in South Australia our internet sucks. I am one of the lucky ones that actually has nbn. Speeds around 100mbps.
