I have been thinking about this lately. Think about how freaking much content has been added to halo 5 so far. It seems like it would be weird to leave all of that behind for a whole new multiplayer. What if halo 6 launches with a crap ton of new maps for halo 5, but with a new campaign. I am simply curious how everyone would react.
This would be like a dream game…imagine the giant campaign 343i could produce if they didn’t have to mess with much multiplayer at all and could focus their extra time on that instead.
Halo 5 MP might need a few minor tweaks, but for the most part I think its VERY well done.
I move on from Halo to Halo every time a new one comes out and I just get used to the new experience. Honestly though, if 343 put a campaign like Halo 4’s and a multiplayer like Halo 5’s into Halo 6, I would consider it the best Halo ever.
I would prefer this also.
Halo 6 won’t be out until 2018, so we have plenty of time to wear out what is available now.
I would not buy Halo 6 if this happened.
Halo 6 needs its own multiplayer that undoes all the mistakes of Halo 5’s. One with a customization system not reliant on grinding through thousands of REQs to start off with.

If Halo 6 just becomes a content hub for Halo 5 then Halo 6 multiplayer will be dead to me, campaign might be interesting but at moment I’ll wait and see.
Really can’t stand Halo 4 or 5’s multiplayer since it’s one of the worst so far.
“But Halo has to change to stay relevant!”
Well the monthly updates with new content that’s free really are awesome. I love being able to play the same maps that everyone else has without having to shell out money just so I can play with my friends.

Amen.
Nice idea.
