> Beyond the Halo 5 release date prediction, the anonymous source claims that Halo 5 is taking a bold new direction in the franchise: Halo 5 is going open world. As seen in the Halo 5 trailer from E3, Master Chief is in a desert (presumably) on a planet we haven’t seen before in the Halo franchise. The source claims that Master Chief will be “going rogue” in the forthcoming game and commandeer his own spaceship. This will allow him to go to a number of different planets (rumored to be 6-8) with each world possessing its own unique main quests and side missions. The nature of those missions was not revealed, so let’s hope that if this is true we won’t have Master chief running packages between bandit gangs. Seems a little beneath him, amirite?
> The anonymous, unconfirmed information in the Halo 5 leak claims that Halo 5 multiplayer will no longer feature loadouts, armor abilities or perks in smaller-scale battles (8-16 players). It will be similar to the multiplayer found in Halo 2. The larger battles will still have the perks and will see the player count increase to 64 players. The gameplay is rumored to be similar to the Invasion style on Halo: Reach.
Interesting, if true.
I hope the multiplayer part is true. Reach wasn’t my favorite because of the multiplayer. It was my favorite because it had so much in everything else. It was a SEQUEL.
The leak was confirmed to be fake just as soon as it came up. [Check out David Ellis and Frank O’Conner’s responses to it.] Don’t you guys remember something like this for Halo 4 too? It’s just a very creative (and, might I say, ridiculous) guy/girl who had some ideas and decided to prank this very gullible community.
Sorry to disappoint
Its most likely fake because it is too good to be true.
It was confirmed to be fake.
It’s old. Frankie said something along the lines of ‘seems legit’, debunking it.
Though I’m no longer sure if we can trust Frankie when it comes to a Halo release…
Guess I should have checked to be sure it was true. I was hoping the multiplayer part was true at least.
Campaign wise I BEG YOU PLEASE DONT
Multiplayer- PLEASE I BEG YOU
This is the same thing someone said on pastebin to which Frankie replied “seems legit”.
I.e. I highly doubt its legit.
