Halo 5 Art Book Cover

If you search “Halo 5 Art Book” on Amazon a picture of the front cover will pop up. I found it quite interesting since it features a new sight (looks like a holographic sight) for the AR and possibly an entirely new weapon on the bottom right. Just wanted to post this for anyone who missed it. I would post a link but I don’t think I can at my rank. I apologize if this was already seen or discussed on here.

I’m more curious to see that Spartan Thorne, judging by the blue Recruit helmeted figure, seemed to early on be a part of Fireteam Osiris. Not that I don’t think its current members are bad by any stretch, but Thorne would’ve been an interesting addition.

It almost looks like a futuristic Tech-9.

Here’s the link for anyone who wants to use it.

I saw this too. I assumed it was just including multiplayer elements in the art book. I’m certain that Fireteam Osiris will stay a four man team, which brings up another point. Maybe one of the members will die and be replaced my Thorne.

Thanks for the link.

Everyone should realize that because this is an Art book, it’s most likely featuring concepts that were designed by cut from final production, including the art cover.

Oh for sure, but I figured it would be something new to discuss. Also, it seems like the gun on the bottom right could be a variant of the AR or even the SMG.

Hell, Locke looks funky in this. Definitely prefer the final design.
Plus, Chief has tiny hands.

I can’t remember where, but I read somewhere that 343 originally planned to use Thorne as part of Locke’s team but changed it because the community wanted Buck back.

I’m glad they went with buck, I think thorne is pretty over rated and his personality is really bland imo.

He’s always had tiny hands :^)
