So I’ve recently seen a lot of talk from 343i about armour sets and things like that, but every time I hear it mentioned they say armour sets, helmets, and visors. I honestly think that the customization that we saw in the beta is as in depth as it will be. Obviously we will have much more actual armour variants but I think we will only have the option to choose our overall armour, our helmet, and our visor colour. And this is what it says you will get for armour if you preorder from a certain retailer:

Why would this not be in the game!
Maybe unlocking a set gives us access to it’s individual components?
I don’t think there’s much cause for concern just because customization in the beta was limited (which is typical) and the term “Armor sets” is being used. But, we’ll just have to wait and see.
And this makes another pointless thread about armors… Nothing has been confirmed so just stop making new posts guys, no matter how it works the work on it is finishing anyways because the game is close to being finalized, because the game is going into production soon…

Well could take time until early september which would be more than enough time, but they probably have enough to finish already instead of now also focusing an making a deeper customization system.

The fact that they haven’t shed any light on it is very worrying. Especially since all that they have said about it is that you can change armour, helmet and visor.

The latter one. But if the system is just armor, helmet, visor they would have confirmed this a long time ago which they haven’t… So as long as there is no official statement there is nothing to worry about and only time will tell what we get.
Could a mod please lock this thread? I’m getting sick of those post always complaining about a system that was not even revealed, they are basically just post count push machines with mostly pointless statements (not all of them) and no real discussion included.

Yeah, I agree. I’d just wait for the game to come out. By the sounds of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if armor customization didn’t go further than helmet, body, and visor. However, I’m willing to bet there will be a ton of variants to choose from, look at Halo 4 as an example. I wouldn’t worry too much about lack of customization.

If it is limited, I’m slightly disappointed. But, the armor that is in the game looks quite refreshing. I’m still looking forward to the customization.
