Hello there~
this is is a petition to ask 343i for more information about halo 5’s armour customisation.
now I didn’t make this petition but I am posting it around because some people feel the need to have this question answered. For example in the halo 5 beta the armour customisation was limited to Head, visor and the suit of armour not shoulders,arms, chest and legs just the whole suit.
From halo 3 to reach and then to halo 4 the armour customisation was developing into something that you didint see in most FFP’s at the time. It gave us the opportunity to make our Spartan stand out From the rest, to look unique in a way.
But so far from the little scraps of information that 343i has said about the halo 5 customisation system is that it will be; Head, visor and armour suit, they didn’t say anything about if it will be piece by piece customisation like in halo 4 and reach or just 3 changeable pieces like it was in halo 3 and halo 5s beta. Now I don’t know about the rest of you but if thats true then that’s a huge Disappointment to me and don’t get me wrong I love the way halo 5 is turning out but…does piece by piece customisation really impact the game running smoothly? Because that was your reason for taking out split-screen co-op in the campaign. I doubt that it would effect how multiplayer runs but that’s the thing none of us know unless you give us more information about the customisation, hell even a yes or no answer would be enough as long as we get our answer.
So guys if you want either 343i to give us an answer or if you just want to post your opinion on wether you want piece by piece customisation in halo 5, then either leave a comment or sign the petition, it’s your choice at the end of the day, I for one hope there will be piece by piece customisation back in halo 5 and that it won’t just be the 3 piece customisation like it was in the beta.

Yes I can but after seeing this petition I thought I might as well make a post out of it because to be truthful I really want to know, but if the petition goes no where and no other information is revealed then yeah I can wait.

The fact that 343 is avoiding this question is rather disturbing, it’s not like they are keeping it for a big reveal at comic-con. Exept if they are planing something new like decals and custom undersuits wich is very unlikely.
I loved the level of customization in Reach and even Halo 4. As far as I know we only have those three areas to customize in the final version, which is disappointing.
I just don’t understand why so many features are being scaled down or cut out. This is supposed to be next gen!
josh Holmes already confirmed this. It’s head chest and visor. They are making armor sets like you saw in the beta. Instead of changing each piece, you get a body set, and your helmet. Then a visor. Pretty self explanatory.

The problem with that confirmation is that it was pre-beta. He could have downplayed it because that was how the beta was. We still don’t have 100% confirmation on what customization will be. We will get our answer eventually though.

Back in the day you didn’t know a single thing before you purchased a game. You bought it, explored all its secrets and enjoyed it.
For christ sakes. They said they had more customization than what was available in beta, and then you sit here and spew forth MORE complaints without actually knowing the information? This is why you should be required to read ALL of their news releases before making a new thread. Then maybe you people would stop complaining about crap you should already know.

The way he worded that was very vague, however. From what I understood, he could have easily been telling us that we’ll be getting more armours to choose from rather than customization options. I agree with the OP, I would love to have more news regarding customization in Halo 5.

Yeah sadly I think that’s what he meant when he said that.

Nowhere did he ever say that it was exclusive to the beta. And that recent tweet doesn’t really sound like a more in-depth customization experience, it sounds more like there will be many options as in armors, assassinations, armor skins, and visors not a mix and match system. People need to stop getting their hopes up about this because so far there is no evidence supporting an in-depth customization system.
Considering they are adding microtransactions in the form of REQ bundles, it is more than safe to assume there will be LOTS of armor in H5. They literally make extra money from selling REQ bundles, so they will put as much content in them as they can so that more people will want to buy them.

You answered you own question, “this is supposed to be next gen”. Didn’t you he the memo? Next gen=Minimal content for more profit$$$$
