Ok so I’ve been playing Halo 5 ever since the night it launched. I don’t really get on much due to having a life but when I do I have massive losing streaks in both Arena and Warzone. I’ll loose like 5 to 10 games in a row, then win a game or two then go back to the losing streak again. I’m a big Halo fan and been playing ever since it came out in 2001. Halo 5 actually has a really good multiplayer compared to Halo 2 which is my favorite. But Halo 5 has the worst losing streaks than any other Halo game in the series in my experience. It basically makes the multiplayer frustrating and not so much fun. Normally I wouldn’t complain but the losses I’m talking about aren’t close games at all. They’re epic beatings where the other team just craps on us completely not even giving us a fighting chance. I usually play by myself and I’m not pro, but I’m also not terrible at the game. I also don’t like putting the blame on teammates but I’m damn sure know it’s not me lol. Is anybody else having this problem or is it just me?!
I don’t have this problem and normally I play solo. Just remember there’s always 1 common variable in every match you play…
If you lose a few games in a row leave matchmaking after you finished a game and join back.

I’ve tried that but I didn’t really see a change. I tried playing today. The first few games were fine. I won a couple and lost a couple too but they were all evenly matched games. But after that, again losing streak. I lost 8 games in a row before I had a win again. 8!!! Then I won a game and BOOM! Lost 6 in a row! And I’m not talking about losses where they were evenly matched, I’m talking straight up butt whooping! I tried backing out and going back in, and even tried other playlists. It’s really starting to frustrate me and I rarely get this pissed about Halo. I’m about to just say screw Halo and 343! This is some straight up bs!
This happens to me all the time! I always seem to get put on the warzone team that gets absolutely demolished, like its not even a close game either. Im talking about 200-1000 kind of score. And its not just me having a bad game, its like my team as a collective is just getting stomped hard, and the other team are all pro players or something. Sometimes i will get put into a match in progress and the score is like 150-600 and of course my team is losing. Or when im on a team that will kill a high ranking npc, and my team has 2 of 3 bases plus we have the lead point wise, then the other team still manages an epic comeback. However when i do get a team that wins afterwards it will take me away from the good team and put me into a game in progress right back on a team thats getting stomped. I think this game just hates me sometimes.
None of the other halos were this consistent.
At having long losing streaks.
Usually 2-3 in a row was bad.
Halo 5 is tripple that on the daily basis.

I didn’t have this kind of crap back in Halo 4 even…like, seriously. The heck?
Is it because Halo 5s super competitive now everyones playing super hard core?
Or is it because there’s more games out there people who can’t hack it have gone over to the Division or something?
ive been having this too, feels unballanced now
I think they need to change the search algorithm. For instance I will get stuck with platinum or gold teammates while I am a diamond, and the other team will consist of two or three onyx and some diamonds. They need to tighten the restrictions so that both teams have a lower skill gap. They could implement a system like in halo 3 that will loosen the restrictions as more time goes on in the interest of finding a match in a timely manner. With more evenly balanced team, maybe there will be less losing streaks and they will be closer games.
Hmm…this seems to be more of a common thing. I thought it was just me!
I’m not playing any differently yet I am majorly sucking and getting into long losing streaks too. Seems to me that the matchmaking AND hit mechanics are off for the last couple days. Getting frustrated that I am not getting kills even though I know opponents are getting hit with headshots and not dying and worse I get hit with 2 Magnum shots from a distance with full shields and I die! Thought 5 shot kill with Magnum—oh wait, that’s just for me.
I almost said “screw it!” and was going to toss my HALO 5 disc into the back of the drawer and start on Fallout 4. Still pretty close though—even after I’ve worked to SR127, collected almost every REQ, and have over 300,000 REQ to spend.
A lot of people just bail if it starts getting lopsided. makes it hard to recover in warzone. In arena forget it.

OP, you have a multiplayer win percentage of 56% which would make you better than the average in terms of winning games.
I feel like whenever their isn’t a ‘featured’ playlist in Warzone I only win about 25% of my games.
When Warzone Turbo brought all the grinders and put them in that playlist for the extra exp, I slaughtered in Warzone Assault all weekend. It was nice.
I usually run with a group of level 100+ so I haven’t been on a losing streak in awhile.
There’s got to be some kind of incentive to stick around. I’m really tired of losing 5+ games in row, people constantly quitting and joining matches mid-progress. The game is no fun to play anymore.

I could be wrong, but it may be because a new season recently began, so everyone is Arena goes unranked for their first 10 games. It would seem that players of all calibers are tossed into the same pot and aren’t sorted out until they’ve ranked. I know that whenever a new monthly season begins, a lot of my games are seriously lopsided. Either my team gets destroyed, or we thrash the other team.
I’m not certain the ranking system works that way, but that’s the impression I have. I’d appreciate it if someone could either confirm or correct…

::::::Facepalm:::::::
New season, rankings are yoink!
Also, it’s a team game so go in expecting a loss if you play solo, when I play solo I generally loose but I just focus on my accuracy, kd and medals etc rather than win/loss and try to improve my own game.

I’m going to be honest with you, Comrade. If you have Fallout 4, you should NOT be playing Halo 5.
