Hello everyone. I love Halo 5 Guardians Multiplaywr but there is one thing that makes me mad. There is no Social playlist like in Halo 3. I usually play with a team on Halo 5 Guardians but when I’m alone I still want to play Slayer but there is no Social playlist where you just play without getting a rank. All I’m saying is that 343 Industries should include Social and Ranked playlist. Who agrees with me?

Social playlists are one of the things that the game needs.

Or you can play slayer and not pay attention to your rank? I, for myself, often play solo and care about my rank because I like to play competitive. It’s in me! But sometimes, I go out on Halo and decide I want to be “social” but don’t want to jump on to Warzone. I go play slayer and then I don’t care if I win or lose as long as I’m having fun. What I’m trying to say is that I decide when the game is competitive or social, and I don’t let the game decide for me. Even when playing social though, the matchmaking is there to make me fight opponent of my level, and not Onyx vs Bronze.
This is my biggest problem with this game. 343 hasn’t implemented any real permanent social playlists. They just give us Warzone and Infection and expect us to be satisfied with that. Neither of them are even remotely similar to a regular game of unranked, 5 vs 5 social slayer. Team Slayer isn’t an option because of the ranking system forcing you to constantly go up against people of a higher rank, so you either get super sweaty or get pubstomped.
If they decide to finally stop dragging their feet and give us a proper social playlist, they need to make it separate from arena. Last time they had a temporary social slayer it was tied to arena stats, so it wasn’t long before sweaty stat padders came along and ruined it.
Yeah I’d like to have Social and Social K/D… I’d probably play more honestly. Last night I got on for like 2 games and quit the second one and shut down because solo queuing sucks and when you’re not in the try-hard mood, ranked Arena just isn’t fun.
