Wouldn’t it be amazing to once again play as the arbiter and to see the war from his perspective.? It could possibly fill in a few holes in the plot and would make the game feel a bit different. To be able to admire the new glorious golden armor and to contribute to Sangheli war. We never get see much of what the arbiter has been up to so it’d be great if we get some insight. Just an idea, and curious on what everyone’s thoughts are on this.

Sounds awesome but very unlikely. I have always said the Halo universe is long over due for an entire covenant based game. Would be a nice spin off. But just some arbiter missions in H5 would be sweet.
That’s true. But 343 said this year they aren’t releasing any major fps game, so they could possibly be making some sort of DLC for halo 5. We can only hope though
If 343 has proved anything it’s that they aren’t predictable so there really is no telling.

Playing as the Arbiter could fix the campaign a little bit, but I couldn’t see it happening as of H5.
I’m going to go off the grain here and say that this is likely. They’ve made it clear no H3A is happening, no announcement of another major fps in the series (at this point any fps would be major, even a H5ODST). So the best bets are Halo wars 2 DLC (which have already been announced through season pass) which leaves Halo 5 DLC. I see no reason why we shouldn’t get an Arbiter DLC to the campaign post ending. We need to see some chief and Arbiter interaction. We need more context to care about resolving the Cortanas problem in Halo 6. I’m sure 343 are intelligent enough to know they can’t just sell H6 as a sequel to H5 weak as hell story, they need a better foundation. A DLC or expansion of some sort (Be it Arbiter or an ODST style game) is a must if they want to sell H6 well.
Even if they do a Arbiter campaign, the new elements of the story will never change my perspective on the story. Maybe they should do a Blue Team campaign to plug in some of the holes that Halo 5 has left. After all, the story was suppose to focus on Fireteam Osiris and Blue Team and the campaign has 20% of Blue Team.
We should all go and replay Halo 2’s campaign in protest of the mediocre “story” of Halo 5.

To answer the question, though, yes. It would be amazing if 343 decided to let us play as the Arbiter again. I’d love being able to use the Prophet’s Bane for a whole campaign.
They might add a small mission in Halo 6 and hopefully with playable elites but there is really no way to tell. If there was a elite only spinoff game that would be a cool thing too.
