I was once a hater, however now I am a lover, I do enjoy the old halo’s and wanted the other mechanics to stay as well as new ones, one of the reasons they included smart scope to be left trigger was to make new people come in, as this is a business, new customers are always wanted. However, so they do not lose customers they included an old set button layout for old halo fans, like me and many that will read this. One of the ones I like the most is the layout “Halo 4” where all the controls are from halo 4, including the new ability’s to some buttons. So, my message is that even though I did not play the beta I am looking forward to H5, Those haters out there stop hating for the love of good gaming and just enjoy it. New and old is combined here to attract the largest audience, so then, stop with the “Anti sprint forums” stop with the “Anti ADS forums” and quit asking other unneeded things.

I am a long time core Halo fan as you put it so please do not try to speak for all of us. As I find Halo 5 a very appealing Halo game to me personally.

I agree. CE was my first and favorite Halo, but Halo 5 is giving it a run for its money.

Halo 5 is made for new inexperienced players, other than a four shot kill (which every other gun being easier than ever before to kill someone), everything is modernized for new players. Every aspect that separated good players from great players have been taken out of Halo. It’s not for everyone, it’s for new players.

Because the left trigger is for nades only been that way since 2001, will stay that way until I leave Halo…
Making ADS left trigger by default tells alot about their intentions…

That would upset a lot of people and we would see a lot of threads about Halo 5 being even more like CoD.

Yeah, I better get used to make the decision, it’s either “good gameplay-feeling” or “easier to win gameplay”…wanna know a secret? I didn’t use sprint after the first 3 or 4 days of the beta…subborn as -Yoink- but at least I got some fun out of the Beta that way

I didn’t. I remember switching my console scheme as soon as I booted up the Beta which is probably why I assumed it wasn’t like that when I thought back to it.
