Halo 5 App: "Something Went Wrong"

Hello, I’m hoping I could get some help with this issue I’ve been having with the Halo App on PC.

Just recently, the Halo App won’t start up properly anymore on PC. It just loads for a while, then gives me the “Something Went Wrong” dialog. I’ve tried re-downloading the app, disabling my anti-virus, restarting my PC, and checking for updates, but none of that worked. I also uninstalled the app and tried running forge by itself; though none of my profile data syncs and it says that the “Halo 5 forge servers are unavailable.”

The funny thing is, it hasn’t been doing this up until a couple of days ago. It used to run fine and now all of a sudden it’s giving me a hard time. I could really use some help here, please.

Not yet, I’m still trying to figure it out.

Same here. Tried uninstalling, rebooting, removing the Halo App and only keeping Forge… Nothing seems to work.

Could you look at the folder “C:\Users*<Your Windows User Name>*\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Tomp_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState” and see if there are any files there? If so, can you post the file contents (it’s just a text file with stack trace info of the crash) or let us know if there is nothing there as well.

Unfortunately there aren’t any files in that folder. :confused: Thank you for trying to help with this!

EDIT: Nevermind! I opened the app again and it generated a file. Here you go.
