In halo wars 2 ending a guardian pulls out the halo from slip space that was on its way to halo 04 location… Could be cortana or just one of her guardians… it does explain which halo it is and how did she got it… I still cant figure out that strange humming sound… anyone have ideas or something that I missed?
Yes, the Guardian pulls Installation 04C out of slipspace. The reasoning is unsure though, presumably because Cortana wants access to an Insallation. And since Ellen Anders doesn’t know anything about the war or what’s going on, Cortana might be able to trick her into helping her. (At least that’s what I’m guessing.)
At the end of Halo 5, Cortana is just humming. (Of course you can’t see the Guardian here, because of the angle. But it’s supposedly there.) As she waits for Anders to go on the surface of the Installation.
Safe bet, it’s a similar ending of Halo 2. A cliffhanger from both games, to merge them into Halo 6. Essentially, Cortana found Anders and needs her for something and this time around Cortana is the Gravemind and Anders is Cortana.

Maybe, but I think it may be safe to assume Halo 5 shows a different Halo rather than Installation 04C. Unless Cortana managed to pull it out of Slipspace right within spitting distance of another planet like Halo 5’s ring was and we just can’t see it.
Thematically it doesn’t matter. Cortana’s going for the rings and that’s what both endings show.
I just don’t get it, the whole community doesn’t blink an eye about the theory of Cortana wanting a Halo ring. Logically it makes no sense for her fo want one or to have the desire to activate any. End of story.
But what can be done is someone use the rings against her. But it seems Guardians can take control over them it seems
BTW I mentally can not figure out how anyone can comfortably announce Cortana’s name as if she’s behind everything. Its horrible even thinking about if she’s initiating anything to do with the Guardians and so foryh

I don’t think the Banished would work for Cortana, I doubt Atriox would want to work for someone, he would rather have them working for him. I don’t really know how they would work in, I mean, that and he and cutter are still on the ark attacking each other so…

I agree. I believe Cortana is collecting all of the Halos and the one in 5’s ending was separate from 05C

Still not much is known about Atrox’s Forces, who could have a whole Armada based in some unknown system
not to mentioned he had 6 months on the Ark… no telling what he knows about Forerunner anything we haven’t seen yet
i just don’t know what the Banished would gain from Helping the Created attain the Mantle of repsonibility of the Galaxy

I said “&” as in 2 different groups. First group is the Banished. Second group is Cortana+ Prometheans+ Guardians+ Halo ring.
I honestly did not pay attention in the campaign to notice, lol. Still interesting though, maybe Cortana has an evil plan with them?

The popular theory running around is she wants to stick a Composer in a Halo ring. Best way to stop rebellion is to make them all digital. And Halo’s can be fired on a low power setting so she could compose a single planet at a time if needed.
