This is just my personal opinion. Reply if you agree, or disagree, i don’t care.
To be honest, I love all of the features 343 ADDED to the game. I actually enjoy the new core mechanics. It adds depth. I enjoy warzone, the skins, armors (could be a bit better maybe), and how they have free updates.
This is why, for me, its honestly so frustrating how it was merely the features REMOVED (or set back) from the game that are the negatives. In my opinion, the following aspects would have added a much more immense enjoyment aspect and player retention rate:
Split Screen: Speaks for itself.
More Custom/social Games: Also speaks for itself.
A better file share and player browser: The ability to view players (armor, files, and more) in pre-match lobbies. Also the implementation of screenshots and videos for file share. They could also have an online database to download different map variants to your xbox live account from your pc.
A combination of these features is honestly all they really need to make the game obtain its social aspect that has been missing.
Obviously, this wouldn’t have made the game perfect, but for a Halo game it would have been damn good, and Halo games are usually my favorite.
