Halo 5 aesthetic suggestion: Jetpacks

In the Prologue of Halo 4, we see Spartan II’s slow their descent considerably with jetpacks. Given the rate of their descent and the weight of the Spartans themselves, these jetpacks have considerable thrust.

“So?” You might ask. “We have jetpacks in Halo already, and they work just fine.”

Aye, they do. Except for the clipping. How many screenshots have been made awkward because of it? In the Prologue, the Spartan II’s jetpacks come from the same place as the Halo 4 teaser; the “shoulder packs” of the MJOLNIR suit itself. They aren’t wearing the big bulky unit that we have in Halo 4 (which is even seen in the Campaign.)

I propose that for Halo 5, should the jetpack be implemented, it behave in such a manner. Perhaps, to indicate the AA that the user has, include a segment above the beltline that acts as a “stabilizer” (canonically,) but when the Jetpack is used have it come from the bottom of the shoulder segments, rather than have a massive unit sticking through the guns we store on our back.
