I know the ad campaign for Halo 5 had absolutely nothing to do with the story we were given, but take into account, now that all of the guardians are deployed. Maybe they cause the destruction that we see in the ads and Master Chief goes off in search of cortana again against orders and Locke and his team are dispatched in search of him. Possibly if Chief allies with cortana that might be why he is labeled as a traitor or maybe its some misunderstanding.

So you’re basically saying, Halo 6 will be the exact same story as Halo 5? Mm… I don’t know about that. I think they mislead us with the ads to distract us from the fact that Cortana is still alive. I honestly thought Cortana was done until I played Halo 5. I was not expecting her to come back, and I don’t think anyone was. So, really their ad campaign worked. What else could they have put in the ads without completely giving away Cortana’s existence, if not just build up hype between the friction of Chief and Locke? Think about that…
I bet they are going to make a halo 5 odst type of game and charge us for it. I forgot about that commercial. Where is that in the game?

No, what I am saying the story they tried to sell us as Halo 5 will be Halo 6. Halo 5s ads were nothing like the story.
You can’t trust 343i. The ads are really deceiving, trying to get you to buy the game. Halo 6 will be something else, maybe called Halo 6: Guardians 2.
