Today while I was shopping at target. I came across, to my surprise, the Halo 5 action figures which I thought didn’t come out till later this month.
They had and I got… Master Chief, Spartan Locke, Spartan Fred, and Spartan Tanaka.
If anyone was wondering about the DLC , it just a intermediate REQ Pack.
Also they were $13.99 each.
What’s cool is that larger Mega Bloks sets also come with REQ packs (no idea what level, though). The two I can confirm for sure are the Phaeton Gunship and the Vulture, so that’s pretty awesome. Something I’ve been wondering, however, is what everyone thinks about the inclusion of REQ packs in Halo toys. Nothing is exclusive to the toys, so you don’t have to buy them if you don’t want to, but it’s also a bonus for those who do want to buy them. What do you think?
I was also under the impression they didn’t come out until later. I have all of them pre-ordered 
I’m not going to lie. I was expecting the DLC that comes with them to be more than that, like their respective armor sets. But its nice that its just a REQ pack I guess.

Wait, as the lego sets/action figures? Or as REQ’s? Because a playable Vulture would be kinda overkill.
Also, can you comment on whether the DLC REQ’s from external merchandise (toys for example) are permanent collection REQ’s or one-time use consumables?

Whoop, sorry. My bad for the confusion. I meant the Mega Bloks sets.
As for the second question, the REQ packs still include random things, so you may get all of one or the other or both.

Ive gone to my 3 Target stores in my area, even looked on the Target websites and cant find proof, an image, link etc. of this being out. All 4 of them were shown off in the Halo Bulliten ep 20

Out of curiosity did you happen to look at the back of the case? If you did, does the first series of figures contain Kelly-087?
Just wondering seeing as the place I have the first series pre-ordered only says it includes Chief, Locke, Athlon and 3 non confirmed figures (Fred, Tanaka and Kelly)
And if I’m not mistaken, this is my first forum post. I have a habit of lurking forums for years before actually making a post.
EDIT- Also does anyone know anything about exclusive figures? Where to find them and how many there are?
I’ve seen at least two, ones a blue and white “Athlon” figure and the other is a teal “Centurion” (Which looks very similar to Fred just several shades lighter) but I have no idea where they are exclusive to.

@AttestedMoon062- I posted a pic of the backside of the box. All I can tell you about exclusives is what the box said, “Look for exclusive Halo action figures at select retailers.” I do know that you can get the 10inch Locke figure from Gamestop here.

Sorry I live in Greensboro, North Carolina.
I live in CA and called up my local target stores, neither had them in stock. They only had the megablocks or whatever. I definitely am not going to go on a spree driving around unless i’m sure they will have em. Hell, the people on the phones probably didn’t even know what I was asking them to look for though so who knows.
I seriously think some stores back east are simply breaking the street release date.
On a side note, can anyone who has these tell me if their feet have holes so I can place them on a plastic stand? I really disliked the Halo 4 ones because they lacked that. Even the hasbro star wars figures have the stand holes in the feet.

No aren’t any holes in the feet. Just a hole on the back for AR, BR, or DMR and a hole on each outer thigh for the magnum.
Canada is awful for McFarlane Halo figures. We only get them at Toys “R” Us for the ludicrous price of $16.99, only one shipment is ordered, and they’re all either QC failures or McFarlane just sucks for quality.
I may skip Chief this time around. I know there are some differences from the Halo 4 Chief (namely colored undersuit and no gash on his chest) but I got the standard Halo 4 Chief and the one with the cracked visor and cloak, so I don’t think I need a third … especially since I have the Mark IV Chief, CE Chief, Halo 2 Chief, and Halo 3 Chief as well. I think 6 is enough Master Chiefs. lol
But I definitely want Fred, Kelly, and Linda. I haven’t decided on Team Osiris. I may just get Locke.
Sick, thanks for uploading pics, they look awesome and I cant wait to get my hands on them too. Its pretty cool to see them coming with a sidearm as well.
Also cant wait until they release a series two, presumably with Buck, Vale, Linda, Arbiter (with his scaled height so he stands about the same as Jul Mdama) some more multiplayer armour (or just repaints of main characters) and some covenant and promethean enemies.
Exclusive figures have always annoyed me a bit but its good too see that they’re not making any of the main characters exclusives.

Yeah I had the same thoughts, until I noticed the differences, but stupid me went out and got the Halo 4 cryotube Chief not knowing there was a standard one (which I got too), and then they released a Chief with a railgun AND a mini Cortana that fits in his hand which was an absolute must get, and then they made one with the cloak and boltshot as well as Cortanas empty chip. So thats 4 Halo 4 Master Chiefs and a Halo 3 one that came with Arbiter and the player 3 and 4 elites (which have actual names but I always just called them Player 3 and Player 4)

Well that is tragic, I’ll have to use a pin vice and drill my own then. Why they wouldn’t have holes so you can stand them up boggles my mind.
